Why Sigment?
After years of working with heavy frameworks like React and Angular, Yaniv noticed a recurring problem: the "Framework Tax." Modern development has become bloated with complex build steps, Virtual DOM overhead, and the constant abstraction of JSX.
Sigment was born from a desire to strip away that complexity. It is built for developers who want to return to the speed and simplicity of Pure JavaScript, without sacrificing modern reactivity.
Real-World Battle Tested
The core engine was originally developed to power Wappaa's internal dashboards. We needed a surgical way to handle rapid data updates and real-time push notification metrics without the lag of traditional frameworks.
Seeing how much it simplified our own workflow, we decided to release Sigment as Open Source. If you know JavaScript, you already know Sigment. No compilers, no JSX—just performance.
